Biplast- V® is a sliding guide for modern machine tool construction and other types of machinery . It consists of a sheet of acetal resin (natural POM with special additives to improve its properties) , coated on the bonding side with a special synthetic fabric (STRETCH), forming an inseparable unit.
Biplast- V® has excellent sliding and dry running properties, excellent wear resistance , high load capacity and resistance to high temperatures.
Biplast- V® coatings have the advantage that their static and dynamic coefficients of friction are virtually identical, eliminating stick-slip effects. This enables high positioning accuracy at low feed rates on CNC machines.
Supply
- Sheets of 2,000×500 mm.
- Standard thicknesses of 1.5, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 mm.
Other thicknesses available upon request - Rules cut and machined with grease grooves and drills according to customer’s drawing.
