Scuder Way Wipers
Scuder, a company barely 3 years old, has managed to carve out a niche in the Machine Tool sector by collaborating with manufacturers and repairers in the process of finding customized solutions for each machine.
What is Scuder's assessment of these almost 3 years of life?
Our assessment of these past two years is positive. Like many other startups, the beginnings weren't easy, and we've had to face various obstacles, including the economic crisis affecting the machine tool sector, the lack of support for new entrepreneurs, and so on. As is well known, the important thing is to emerge stronger from every difficulty, and that's what we've tried to do so far.
What prompted them to create their own company?
The Scuder team , with over 25 years of experience in manufacturing machine tool protection , was aware of the needs of companies in the sector that were not fully met.
What has made customers trust Scuder? What sets them apart from other competing companies?
Scuder has been committed to the following values since its inception: extensive experience in manufacturing high-quality products at reasonable prices, innovation and development of new products, short delivery times, and personalized technical advice.
Over the years, Scuder has worked to integrate itself into companies within the sector , collaborating closely with clients to achieve the best solutions . Our clients have responded favorably to our company values and have chosen Scuder as their trusted supplier.
What are their flagship products?
We manufacture a wide variety of products for the overall protection of the machine and we can highlight the wide range of references we offer for guide cleaners/scrapers , protective shutters , etc.

Furthermore, we are the exclusive distributors of Biplast-V® , original material from the German firm I-Plastic , and of Spinelli anchoring and leveling elements , both leading companies in their sectors.

for Spain, Portugal and Latin America
What sectors do your main clients belong to?
They are primarily machine tool manufacturers and repairers. We also have clients in the engineering , automotive , and aerospace sectors… to name a few of the most representative.
Are they investing in R&D&I?
Scuder, in its eagerness to respond to the needs of its customers, works to enhance activities related to R&D&I, which implies a greater strength of its products, which in turn makes them positively differentiated from the rest.
What challenges do you think they will have to face in the future?
Today, the way companies operate is very different from years past. Our clients have very little stock in their warehouses, and we, as suppliers, must serve them by having sufficient materials available for immediate production and delivery within the shortest possible timeframes. This necessitates immediate work planning and organization, which has increased our clients' expectations. We must deliver our products with the highest quality and in the shortest possible time. We work daily to strengthen and expand our client base.
The next edition of the BIEMH trade fair will be held in Bilbao in May. Will you be attending as exhibitors?
Yes, we attended for the first time at the 2014 edition and this year we are returning to offer, in addition to our already well-known products, several new products that we have been working on these last few months.
We will be presenting our new guide-cleaner profile, which offers greater robustness and resistance, as well as our new protective shutter model for working in a transverse position at high speed. This new shutter has been designed for use in tool changers and other applications requiring minimal friction.
As distributors for Spinelli levelers, we will be presenting their latest innovation in leveling and anchoring elements. This is an anti-vibration leveler designed to minimize the transmission of vibrations to adjacent machines and to prevent the absorption of vibrations from other machines.
